Grasshopper Pie (Mom's)

1 1/2 c milk
1/4 c butter
24 fudge cream cookies (oreos)
large bag marshmallows
1 large Cool Whip
peppermint extract
green food coloring

Heat milk and add marshmallows. Cook and stir over low heat until completely melted. Cool. Make crumb crust in 9x13. Add Cool Whip to marshmallow mixture along with 1/2 tsp peppermint extract and food coloting. Can be frozen.
