Bran Muffins

2 c boiling water
1 c butter (or margarine)
5 t baking soda
2 c sugar (brown sugar is best)
1 t salt
4 eggs
4 c All Bran
2 c Bran Flakes
5 c flour
1 qt buttermilk

Mix water, butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, soda, salt, cereals, then flour. This mixture will last in the fridge (unbaked) for up to 6 weeks. Bake in med muffin tins (greased) for 20 mins at 350, 10-15 mins for mini muffins, and 20-25 for large. Use the cake"touch test" to check if done.
