Thank you Jacki (and Connie) for this calorie-laden dish that my family insists on now every thanksgiving!
3 c cooked, mashed sweet potato (Connie bakes them whole, then peels come off easily)
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t salt
1/2 c milk
2 eggs
2 T melted butter
1 t vanilla
Mix all together and put in greased 9x13 pan.
Topping:
1/4 c melted butter
1 c brown sugar
1/3 c flour
1 c chopped pecans
crumble and spread on top
Bake at 350 for about 30 mins. If that wasn't enough of a heart attack in a pan, they STILL want mini marshmallows broiled on top and "toasted" for the last few minutes.Hmm. Will we live through thanksgiving?
