Baked Ziti

Baked Ziti

8 oz penne or rigatoni dry pasta, cooked according to instructions
1 jar pasta sauce (we like Prego)
3/4 c water
1 T fresh basil, chopped
1 T fresh garlic, pressed
1/2 c parmesan
1/4 t black pepper
1 pkg sliced garlic bread (12 slices)
3 c shredded mozzarella
1/2 c olive oil
12 fresh whole basil leaves (opt)
2 roma tomatoes, sliced into 12 thin slices
(can add cooked sausage for more protien, but I don't like it)

mix all except bread, tomatoes, and basil leaves (also save some cheese for top). Place in greased 9x13, add 12 slices of garlic bread, sprinkle with  extra mozza, then tomato slices (dipped in olive oil) on top of bread, and bake uncovered at 400 for 30 mins. Top each tomato with basil leaf. Beautiful!
