Grandma Leavitt's Jello Cheesecake

Crust:
1/2 lb graham crackers, crushed
1/4 c melted butter
2 T powdered sugar

Filling:
1 small pkg jello (orange, lemon)
1 c boiling water
8 oz cream cheese
2 t vanilla
1 c sugar
1 can evaporated milk (cold)

Mix jello and water. Refrigerate until it begins to thicken, but not firm. Make crust mixture (save some for top) mix vanilla, cream cheese, and sugar. Add to gel. Whip milk until thick, like cream and add to mixture. Chill 6 hours.
