Pound Cake

3 sticks butter
8 oz cream cheese
3 c sugar
6 eggs
3 c cake flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Mix cream cheese and butter, add sugar and mix well. Add eggs one at a time, mix well, add salt and vanilla, Add flour one cup at a time stirring until blended, pour into grease and floured pan. 350 for 1 hr 15 mins. Can you see why this is called POUND cake. Maybe it should be plural.
